That’s kind of crazy, don’t you think?
There were many things in life that made Melissa happy— getting a good grade without even studying, popsicles on a hot summer day, when she witnessed people doing nice things for others without an alterior motive, dancing in the rain, etc. She was just always the happy-go-lucky type of girl. But the one thing that would triumph any and all of those time after time, her very favorite reason for smiling, was Miles. He knew her inside and out, put up with her crazy, and embraced every flaw she had. He might think that she was great, but it was obvious that, after dealing with her for four years and still loving her, he was the better person out of the two. As much as she pretended to deny it sometimes, Melissa wasn’t the perfect one, Miles was. By far.
She pressed herself even more against him so they were even closer and threaded her fingers through his hair, the food lay completely forgotten on the counter. Hearing him talking about their future kids was a definite turn on— she always knew he’d be a great father. Pressing her lips against his in a gentle kiss, she whispered, “Daddy and baby. The only ones mommy will ever willingly wake up early for,” against his lips before pulling back slightly to look into his eyes and adding, “To make breakfast,” punctuated by a kiss, “To make love with you,” another kiss, “To love you and how ever many kids are blessed with having us as parents.” She giggled. For some reason, talking about having kids with Miles made her giddy and in return giggle like a schoolgirl. “I might be a little crabby for the rest of the day,” she continued as a second thought, “but I’ll try my hardest not to be completely insufferable.”
Miles smiled as she punctuated her words with kisses, and he wrapped his arms around her waist tightly. The thought of having kids with Melissa always made him just as happy. No matter if it was one child or three children, he would probably be one of the happiest people in the world the day he gets to hold his baby in his arms..their baby. He looking forward to each step of their relationship: marriage, children, etc. But it wasn’t just that making him want more, every day with her was like a miracle. If they fought, it would unseemly get settled so they were both happy again. It was like a relationship everyone yearns for.
After she spoke up again, Miles tilted his head like a confused child, looking into his fiancee’s eyes. “Crabby?” he questioned, moving one of his hands over to hold onto hers, running his thumb over her knuckles. “Why?”
………..You caught me.

Let me just… strategically place myself on top of him.
Might get a little uncomfortable, but I’m sure the pleasure will make him forget all about the pain.Did I mention, I don’t want to leave this place?
I think you’ve said that a few times.
Melissa giggled before turning her head slightly to look at Miles, placing a sweet kiss on his cheek. “Yeah, you’d better be thankful, Mister. This is a once in a lifetime occurrence.” She looked down at the flour all over the floor and counter before adding, “I think flour everywhere will be thankful for that.” Letting out a soft chuckle, she turned in his arms. ”I can give these to the two love birds, if you’d prefer?” A smirk played on her face. She knew that’s not what he meant when he said it was unlike her, but she couldn’t help teasing him a little.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, completely forgetting about the food, she brought his head down for a passionate kiss knowing he would get a taste of the strawberries she had been snacking on all morning. She pulled away shortly to stare into his eyes before cracking another smile. “You’re lucky I love you. I wouldn’t do this for just anyone.”
Miles smiled lovingly, laying his hands against her back as she leaned his forehead against hers. He was very lucky she loved him, she was the best person to ever walk into his life. Even if she felt as if she needed to deny it every time he brought it up and make it seem as if he was the better person, he would always think differently. She was perfect, everything he would ever want in a wife-to-be. He smiled after he noticed the smile come across her own face..her smile was contagious, the one thing that he could always count on to make the darkness in his life turn into light. He rubbed her back soothingly, licking his lips after the taste of strawberries still lingered on his lips after the kiss. “I know, I’m very lucky.” he replied, “And I’m glad I’m the only person you’d ever cook breakfast for.” he replied, “Or until there’s little munchkins running around.” he added, which never failed to make his smile even wider.
I’ve had a few dreams about what my wedding would be like, and they were all different situations. Some were pretty weird, and some were definitely great, so I’ll say that.
That’s mean..

It should be a “rule of the road” that you can’t look at the camera when you’re driving… but his face is fun to look at, so I’ll let it slide.
Fun to look at, huh?
